Job Development - CSSD Curriculum (AIC Staff Only)

Course Description:

Job Development Curriculum Training is designed to go over the four stages of Job Development, describing each of these phases in detail and covering what activities should take place with the client in each stage of the curriculum. The course also covers the External Job Development responsibilities. Participants are introduced to two in house credentialing programs: the National Retail Federation's Customer Service and Sales Certification and ACT's National Career Readiness Certification. They will also be given an overview of the Certificate of Employability. Lastly, the course will go over Job Development specific documentation requirements and available reports, including a presentation from a member of the CDCS team. 

Course Learning Objectives: 

Participants will: 
1. understand the four phases of Job Development: Organization, Instruction, Pro-Social Activities, and Exodus 
2. understand the additional Job Developer responsibilities including External Job Development 
3. understand the two in house credentialing programs 
4. understand what is required for file documentation and data entry into the Contractor Data Collection System (CDCS)


Target Audience: AIC Job Developers, Program Directors & other AIC staff.
