MET/CBT/FSN 4 day (Cannabis Youth Treatment) Pre-Requisite: Motivational Interviewing. CBT preferred but not required.

Recommended Pre-Requisite: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Required Material: MET/CBT/FSN Curriculum.
STUDENTS MUST PRINT AND BRING BOTH DOCUMENTS BELOW WITH THEM TO TRAINING. 




Course Description:

MET CBT is a four-day training on each part of the curriculum. It trains the participants to be able to facilitate MET CBT FSN. We will go over fidelity and best practice of Motivational Enhancement Theory, the group aspect of the curriculum (CBT)and the Family Support Network component. The trainees will practice facilitating each part while focusing on MI and fidelity.

Course Learning Objectives:

Participants will:
1. understand the theoretical framework behind MET/CBT/FSN
2. have the opportunity to see and facilitate curriculum
