Reasoning and Rehabilitation (R & R) (5-day) (AIC Staff Only) Pre-Req: Group Facilitation

Required Pre-requisite: Group Facilitation
Required Material: The complete R & R 2-r manual: includes 14 sessions in binder 

(each session consists of 3 parts: trainer's guide, training procedure & supplements)
If students arrive without curriculum they will be asked to leave and reschedule. At least one complete up-to-date manual per program location must be brought to the training.

Course Description:


This is a 5-day interactive seminar covering the curriculum Reasoning and Rehabilitation II-revised, a curriculum intended for adults whose anti-social behavior has led to their coming under the supervision of social service agencies, or criminal justice agencies. R&R 2-r is an internationally accredited, evidence-based, multi-faceted, cognitive-behavioral program designed to teach cognitive skills, social skills and values that are required for pro-social competence. 

Course Learning Objectives:

Participants will:
1. learn the program development and theoretical foundation of the curriculum.
2. understand the core curriculum and session content, proper delivery of the material, and role of the facilitator.
3. attain the necessary skills to facilitate the Reasoning & Rehabilitation 2-r curriculum through modeling and practice of multiple lessons.
